Mountain Lake Lodge in Virginia offers three themed weekends so fans can relive the soundtrack and dance routines iconic characters Baby Houseman ‘Johnny Castle and Frances.

The Dirty Dancing experience includes dance lessons, trivia nights, a draw of watermelon, a treasure hunt and of course, a screening of the film starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey.

If it was not tempting enough , fans can even spend the night in Virginia Cottage, the cabin where the baby family stayed for the film.

In the 1987 film, the accommodation is called Kellerman Resort and was located in the Catskill Mountains of New York in 1963, but in fact, the picturesque stone houses nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains to Pembroke.

Many Dirty Dancing familiar scenes were filmed at Mountain Lake Lodge, including the famous (I’ve had) The Time of My Life dance routine.

Heidi Stone, general manager of the hotel, told ABC News: “It is amazing how many thousands of ” Dirty Dancing fans we meet every summer.

“We have guests from all over the world who come to Mountain Lake Lodge just for the weekends of Dirty Dancing.

“There tends to be a popular” girls “weekend getaway, but we see some husbands and small friends from time to time.”
