Amanda Chatel , 35, of New York, spends most of the year traveling
travel around the world is one of the greatest luxuries of life, but for many the only time they can spend months at a time on vacation during a gap year before university or after retirement.
But Amanda Chatel, 35, of New York caught the virus travel so much that she decided to devote her life to the pursuit of discovering new places.
Chatel now spends most of the year on travel and this year she has been in Costa Rica, Thailand and Cambodia before arriving in Europe in April, where she is currently holed up in Barcelona.
By sublet his apartment in New York, it can work quite as a freelance writer to fund her travels, using cafes, hotels and hostels and his office.
The arrangement works so well that it does not intend to give him and reveals that his future will be centered around seeing the world, instead of fixing and to have children, something that even in this day and age, foreigners have a problem with.
Chatel told MailOnline Travel: ‘I do not want kids because the lifestyle I want for myself is not very conducive to parenting.
“It is the freedom that I want – even when at home in New York, I want to go to restaurants and expensive bars, but when you have kids that changes – you can ‘t go for dinner at the Plaza because of the cost of raising children.
“Maybe that seems selfish, certainly that what men have called me on the Internet. Mostly men, but also women who said that other women should procreate.
But at this rate, we will soon have too many people on this planet to planet to be able to support us, so I mean c’mon guys, really? “.

Chatel first caught the travel bug in 2010 after his marriage ended.
Holidays spur-of-the-moment in Paris led to more trips abroad until she spent most of her time off the United States.
She said: “I had never been to Europe before 2010 and when my relationship ended, I sublet my apartment and just said,” F ** * I’m going to Paris. ”
“I went myself for a couple of months and I loved it, so next year I returned to Paris and then Italy, then the year after I made it to Paris and Spain and just kept adding more locations.
“I feel like it’s the only thing that makes me happy -. After a while I just get itchy feet
Later that year, Chatel has plans to visit Kenya, South Africa and Japan.

“When I married and was so deeply in love, I thought there might be something in me that wanted to procreate, but if all it turns me the idea.
‘I have a dog when I travel with my parents and still is the love of my life, I rather have an animal shelter to have children.
But even if it’s his decision what to do with her body, Chatel revealed that she regularly receives messages angry men who believe it should choose a mother instead.
She said: “I think people like to get involved in the affairs of others and the Internet has allowed people to more easily now than in hiding behind false names.
“I do not understand, I’ve never commented on an article in my life, but when I say something like not wanting to have children, people actually take time out of their day to find my email and tell me I suck.
former white men want to dictate to women what they do with their bodies, whether about abortion or having children they want to have a word to say – I say, when you guys get a uterus then we can talk.
But while the hurtful criticism might mystify Chatel, it is largely water on a duck’s back as she is his life dreaming his dream by browsing the world.

She said: “Traveling around the world you change because you go outside your comfort zone and leaving a culture that you always knew, and you change because of it.
“When I went to Cambodia, it had a profound effect on me and I came back changed.
“Whenever I go to a new country and experience new things, I feel like added to my character and I’m kind of a person more empathetic.
‘It breaks my heart to hear of people who either can not afford or have no interest in travel, because it is so amazing – while there are many s *** in the world, but it is quite remarkable in many ways.
